Start-IPP
is a project funded by the European Commission, within the
framework of the LIFE Environment programme.
It is a 3-year project that started in October 2004 and will
end in September 2007.
Start-IPP focuses on Integrated Product
Policy (IPP) and its implementation in Mediterranean countries
with no/little experience in IPP.
The project leader is INETI / CENDES (Centre
for Sustainable Business Development of Instituto Nacional
de Engenharia, Tecnologia e Inovacao), Portugal, and 9 partners
are also involved: EPTA ltd, Greece, Ecological Recycling
Society (ERS), Greece, RAM Europe Ltd , Greece, AERLIS (Associacao
Empreserial Da Regiao de Lisboa), Portugal, National Technical
University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, VALSAN Ltd, (Valdemar
dos Santos), Portugal, DURIT Ltd (Metalurgia Portuguese do
